Current MAM system is running version 4.2, which is no longer supported by the vendor. Critical security patches are no longer issued. Integration with new editing platforms requires version 6.x.
Justification
An unsupported MAM is a cybersecurity liability and blocks adoption of updated production workflows. The vendor has offered upgrade pricing that expires September 2025.
Risk if Unfunded
Security vulnerability in unsupported system. Inability to integrate with modern edit platforms. Loss of preferential upgrade pricing adds estimated $18K to future cost.
