- Four aging ISDN audio codecs used for live remote broadcasts must be replaced with IP-based units. ISDN service is being discontinued by the Korean telecom provider in Q1 2026.
- Justification
- ISDN discontinuation is not optional — service will simply cease. IP codecs are the industry-standard replacement and are required for live remote coverage of command events.
